Leapin' Lambs

A number of years ago, I had the privilege of going to England with a dear friend. We rented a small cottage in the Midlands and awoke every morning to the pleasant sound of lambs calling for their mothers. It was for me one of the sweetest sounds and sights; Spring lambs frolicking and frisking, leaping and running, skipping and bleating, and simply adorable to watch! I have since been in the Cotswolds with my daughter, enjoying the scene of sheep and lambs grazing in the English countryside.
This is one of my favourite Spring scenes:

You will love this video of the Spring lambs set to the music of Hans Zimmer's 'Now we are Free'.
(pause music at sidebar Spring playlist to listen)
Enjoy:

"It was a pretty sight to see
These lambs with frisky heads and tails
Skipping and leaping on the lea,
Bleating in tender, trustful tones,
Resting on rocky crag or mound.
And following the beloved feet
That once had sought for them and found."
~Christina Rossetti (1830-1894)
